Technology-Enhanced Campus Courses

There are a variety of instructional technologies available for use in your course. One of the core technologies supported by Online Learning is the myCourses course management system (CMS). myCourses is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so students and faculty have the potential to interact at any time from any Internet connection.

myCourses is a web-based CMS that accommodates users of all levels of expertise. Faculty can post information and files for their particular courses to the web without any knowledge of HTML, web programming or web design. To learn more about myCourses please visit the Teaching Technologies area on our web page. To access, myCourses go to http://mycourses.rit.edu.

myCourses can be used to host a wide variety of instructional tools that are available to you.

Faculty can get hands-on experience and training using these instructional tools in our TLT Lab, located in the basement of the Wallace Library, room A650. Faculty can use the TLT Lab to create a range of course materials, from simple PowerPoint presentations to audio/video-streaming course components and online survey and evaluation tools.
